Dechambeau was all the talk ahead of the November Masters and his discombobulation on the opening 9 holes was spectacular. McIlroy suffered a similarly scratchy opening round but finished much stronger.

Lee Westwood and Cam Champ were near the pointy end of the Leaderboard after R1 but were unable to maintain their challenges.
