It was a disappointing start to the championship season,Carlow and Wicklow looked like collecting but both faded very late on.In the other game Antrim always had an uphill climb after a a poor start.

Waterford took their foot off the pedal on Sunday and paid the price losing by the minimum margin. They traded at 1/7 with 5 minutes to play so it was a frustrating result.
