The Golf team were aiming to follow up on 33/1 and 100/1 places in their last two tournaments. Long time members of the service will know that Hideki Matsuyama is a firm favourite and we tipped him regularly as he was emerging on the Tour. So, it was especially galling that he beat our 90/1 selection for this event - Webb Simpson - in a playoff.
