Better runs from our selections today with several hitting the frame, and Magic Wand was an impressively emphatic winner of the Ribblesdale. Once again we were on a 'money' horse early, this time it was Glory Fighter in the first. He was backed from 12/1 in to 13/2 by the off.

Well we managed to get the two hotpots of the day turned over, but unfortunately we weren't on the right ones to pick up the pieces. Urban Fox was one of the best backed horses of the day, eventually going off a 13/2 shot. He left himself too much to do, though, and only finished 4th.
