Farmers Insurance Open Results

Fresh from a 100/1 runner up in the CareerBuilder Challenge event last week, our team were confident heading in to a fiercely competitive looking Farmers Insurance Open.

It looked good before play on Sunday with Snedeker leading and Rose poised to strike - they were trading as short at 7/4 and 7/1 - but neither could capitalise.

Jon Rahm took his debut victory with an eagle on the 72nd hole. It was a tournament where many big names failed to fire - including the likes of Koepka and Woods who we recommended to oppose. They both missed the cut.

Australian Open Tennis Results

Another strike in the Women's Oz Open for our Tennis tipster, who landed Azarenka at 6/1 a few years ago too.

The draw fell open for Nishikori but - much like Nadal in the final - he couldn't prevail in the deciding 5th set. Tsonga made smooth progress to the QF and was well backed to defeat Wawrinka, but ultimately limped out of the tournament with a no-show.

Mens

Kei Nishikori E/W for the Australian Open at 33/1: Lost (to eventual winner)
Jo-Wilifred Tsonga to win 2nd Quarter at 7/1: Lost (QF)

Women's

2pts Serena Williams to win Outright at 16/5: WON
Monica Puig to win 2nd Quarter at 18/1: Lost
Dominika Cibukova to win 4th Quarter at 9/1: Lost

Yaroslava Shvedova to beat Irina-Camelia Begu at 1/1: 1-2
Daria Kasatkina to win 2-0 (vs Peng) at 9/10: 0-2
Coco Vandeweghe to beat Roberta Vinci 2-1 at 10/3: 2-0

Kyle Edmund to beat Pablo Carreno-Busta at 4/5: 0-3
Dolgopolov +5.5 Games (vs Monfils) at 11/10: 19-13
Dania Gavrilova to beat Ana Konjuh at 21/20: WON, 2-1
Sorana Cirstea +3.5 Games (vs Riske) at 1/1: WON, 13-8

Rafael Nadal to beat Roger Federer at 4/5: 2-3

Nadal was a break up in the 5th set but Federer cemented his status as one of the most popular tennis players of our generation with an emotional victory.
