It was a tremendously tight lead leaderboard after the first round - but Webb Simpson left the field for dead with a Friday 63, and he never came back to the field. By Sunday evening he'd secured a 4 shot victory from his nearest pursuers Schwartzel, Walker & Schauffele.

Justin Thomas played well over the weekend and finished one shot outside of the payout places. He's left himself with far too much work after an opening round 73.
While we didn't make any hay with our 'Follow' golfers - yet again they comfortably out-performed our 'Oppose' list. Even with the high profiles of McIlroy & Garcia, the highest finish they could manage was 57th - fantastic results if you're using our Follow & Oppose lists in 72-hole match bets.
