The Tournament of Champions is the calendar opening event on the PGA Tour. To be invited to the Kapulua Resport Plantation Course in Hawaii you must have won an event in the 2013-14 season. As such, it features plenty of familiar names, and also plenty you might not of heard of outside of the PGA tour.

The reduced field Tournament is a four day stroke-play event with no cut. The first round is this Friday, with the closing round being played on Monday, to avoid clashing with the NFL Playoffs. This year the tournament is sponsored by Hyundai.
