Anriban Lahiri was a much bigger factor in the tournament than his final finishing position of 39th suggests. Going in to the weekend he was one off the lead, but he was one of many players managing to string four rounds together, and a weekend 71-76 put paid to his chances.
As it was, Russell Henley surged home with a Sunday 63 and landed a Top 10. JJ Spaun was also flirting with the places. Having been tipped at triple figure prices he came home in a tie for 13th.
