Fleetwood was a huge factor - and was outright favourite at many points - but his challenge faltered on the front nine on Sunday after going bogey-double-bogey through three consecutive holes. Justin Rose needed a birdie on the 36th hole to even make the cut, yet once again came home like a train to join in the tie for 2nd place.
