2020 (+£6,275 at +25%) and 2021 (+£6,285 at +23%) were always going to be tricky years to follow - especially once variance struck us down at the start of the Super League season.

We had one winner from our opening 15 tips, but the team kept their cool and finished the season strongly.

By the time the dust had settled on the World Cup we had accumulated +£2,815 in profit (to £50 bets) at +12%, cementing an eighth consecutive winning season.

That's in line with our lifetime PnL of +£30,054 at +12%, but below our three-year PnL of +£15,374 at +20%.

Rugby League - 2022 Season Review

Even after the opening run of bad luck, our key markets still performed well.

The team had below average NRL & Super League seasons, but absolutely smashed rep footy all year long, from the Maori's winning the pre-season All-Stars for us as underdogs, right through to the World Cup final.

To get a more reliable data set we've looked back over the last three seasons.

Rugby League - Last Three Seasons

And you can see this paints a much clearer picture of how the mini-blips and losing runs balance against the general trend of consistent & relentless profits.

This table highlights where we have been making our profits. The 'Outright' (above) and 'ESL' (Super League - below) numbers are  boosted given we landed Man of Steel winners at 40/1 and 25/1.

Looking at our main markets; Handicap, Totals, Money Line (Match Winner) you can see really solid and consistent performance on markets with very high liquidity.

Intuitively, 25/1 and 40/1 winners would skew results, but digging deeper reveals that profits have come across the board on Super League.

PGA Tour Results – 2023 Sony Open

Cam Smith was a 55/1 winner of this event for us in 2020, and after a lightening fast start from Spieth and English it looked like being a promising weekend.

However, they faded away and it was South Korean Si Woo Kim whose birdie - birdie finish catapulted him ahead of long time leader Hayden Buckley for the win.
