The Sony Open is the first full field event of the calendar year and our Golf tipster was agonisingly close to nailing back to back winners on the PGA Tour. Last week we tipped Xander Schauffele to win the Tournament of Champions at 25/1, and this time it was Andrew Putnam to give us a run for our money.

Turning for home on Sunday he had a one shot lead and was 8/11 favourite to win - but Matt Kuchar dug deep and ended up winning going away.
